JASON'S BLOG HAS BEEN INVADED BY AN ALIEN

And the alien is now able to post stuff whenever it wants if it wants. Also the alien isn't a stereotypically weird creature, it's a cool one.

Writing something purely for the sake of writing something after having infiltrated Jason's blog:

Sigh, want to go to Malaysia/Asia. "It feels like we go back to Malaysia every summer," said one of my friends; so it's easy to associate the summer holidays with a holiday in Malaysia. Oh man, I didn't even grow up there, but it feels so much like home. The weather (yes I actually like hot + humid), the language (Hokkien ftw), and oh man, being able to just step outside (when staying at a hotel in Singapore/KL) and walk around the shops - like there's actually a nightlife, nothing compared to the "nightlife" of Melbourne city - and get food at anytime especially at hawker stores oh my gosh plastic bagged kolo mee!

Some siew yoke. Like?

the big five oh...and the most revealing post yet. BEWARE READERS.

It's been a rollercoaster week filled with highs and inevitably lows, and when I mean lows, I mean REALLY REALLY low. At some points this week, I felt that I had reached my breaking point. I felt helpless. I felt that there was no more gas in the tank. It's been a question of loneliness this week where sometimes, I feel like I'm just so alone with no one right by my side as I go from day-to-day activities. Sometimes, it feels like the thing that keeps me going is God's grace and his will for my life. That's when I flashbacked to this song, with incredible lyrics that comforts me, especially in the chorus, because after all, WE ARE NOT ALONE.

You're Not Alone - Saosin

It's just like him
To wander off in the evergreen park
Slowly searching
For any sign of the ones he used to love
He says he's got nothing left to live for
(He says he's got nothing left)
And this time I think you'll know

You're not alone
There's more to this I know
You can make it out
You will live to tell

She's just like him
Spoiled rotten, confused by the lies shes been fed
She's searching for no one (but herself)
Her eyes turn to green and she seems to be happy that she is here
And this time I think you'll know

You're not alone
There is more to this I know
You can make it out
You will live to tell

You're not alone
There is more to this i know
You can make it out

(There is more to know)

We're not alone
There is more to this i know
You can make it out
You will live to tell

(So tell them)

You're not alone
There is more to this i know
You can make it out
You will live to tell

You're not alone
There is more to this i know
You can make it out
You will live to tell

You're not alone
You're not, you're not alone

THERE IS MORE TO THIS THAT I ABSOLUTELY UNDENIABLY KNOW. And it's gonna be a heck of a journey figuring it out. I can only carry on this journey with loved ones whom I know will catch me whenever I stumble and fall but at the same time, it's important to KNOW YOUR BOUNDARIES.

"Sometimes it's hard to see the lines we've drawn, until we cross them. That's when we rely on the ones we love to pull us back, and give us something to hold on to. Then there are the clearly marked lines, the ones if you dare cross, you may never find your way back. xoxo" - Gossipgirl

even if the sky is falling down...

This is one of the songs that I've been listening to so much these days. It's like my walking-back-from-Pines song, bathroom-singing song cos it just gets me into a fine mood. Not only cos I've been getting into RnB sort of stuff lately, but a catchy tune and great lyrics makes a perfect recipe for a nice song, well at least in JaOng's books anyway. Oh and did I mention, this song kinda reminds me of you.

Down - Jay Sean ft. Lil Wayne
Baby are you down down down down down,
Down, Down,
Even if the sky is falling down,
Down, down
Ooh (ohhh)

You oughta know, tonight is the night to let it go,
Put on a show, I wanna see how you lose control,
So leave it behind 'cause we, have a night to get away,
So come on and fly with me, as we make our great escape.

So baby don't worry, you are my only,
You won't be lonely, even if the sky is falling down,
You'll be my only, no need to worry,
Baby are you down down down down down,
Down, Down,
Baby are you down down down down down,
Down, Down,
Even if the sky is falling down,

Just let it be, come on and bring your body next to me,
I'll take you away, hey, turn this place into our private getaway,

So leave it behind 'cause we, have a night to get away,
So come on and fly with me, as we make our great escape,
(So why don't we run away)

So baby don't worry, you are my only,
You won't be lonely, even if the sky is falling down,
You'll be my only, no need to worry,
Baby are you down down down down down,
Down, Down,
Baby are you down down down down down,
Down, Down,
Even if the sky is falling down,

(LiL Wayne)
Even if the sky is falling down like she 'posed to be,
She gets down low for me,
Down like her temperature, cause to me she zero degrees,
She cold, over freeze,
I got that girl from overseas,
Now she my miss America,
Now can I be her soldier please,
I'm fighting for this girl,
On a battlefield of love,
Don't it look like baby cupid sendin arrows from above,
Don't you ever leave the side of me,
Indefinitely, not probably,
And honestly I'm down like the economy,
Yeahhhhhh

So baby don't worry, you are my only,
You won't be lonely, even if the sky is falling down,
You'll be my only, no need to worry,
Baby are you down down down down down,
Down, Down,
Baby are you down down down down down,
Down, Down,
Even if the sky is falling down

just for taylor.

Taylor Swift.

A mega-talented individual who I've come to appreciate her country-style music and her heartfelt performances. Yes I've even downloaded her album which features awesome songs such as "Love Story" and "You Belong With Me". What's frightening is that she's only a 19-year old teen and with her accomplishments so far, there's no doubt that she'll go far in the music industry.

Her most recent award coming at the MTV Video Music Awards when she took out the "Best Female Video' for "You Belong With Me". It was a great achievement for her until Kanye spoilt the party. Why can't you just let her have her moment, Kanye?!

Besides that, I have no doubt that this will be the start of an illustrious career for young Taylor and I hope that she'll continue to produce lots more tracks because I love listening to her music :)

a reprise from an earlier post.

You got a piece of me
And honestly
My life would suck without you

you've been the best thing that has happened to me this year. Sometimes you might not know it but you've always made me feel much better when I am down.

you make me happy, you make me feel the way I do. I love you.

D&M's... not to be confused with M&M's :p

Deep and meaningful's. Conversations that lift you up when you're down. Conversations that helps you get through the toughest times in your life. Conversations that makes your tear ducts work overtime. Conversations that are ESSENTIAL.

Deep and meaningful conversations is talking about mental issues that are laying burdens on you. Through these conversations, it helps you to discover yourself and discover where you are heading in life. For those of you who know me really (and i mean, REALLY) well, you would have known that I've gone through a lot of emotional stress and many issues arose that I really could not deal with myself. That's where the dnm's come in and boy, did they help immensely! Not only did it make me feel better about my situations, but it really helped me discover my internal problems and target the cause of these problems. You see, for me, when I share and I open up, it's always beneficial for someone to assess your problem because you might not see the little nitty-gritty since you want to view your problem the way how you want to view your problem. This means that you don't see the fine detail that is wrong which causes you to believe that your problem is not as big when it actually is.

We all hear that you can't go through life alone and for me, building up friendships is something that I strive to achieve as I journey through life. I thank God for giving me the friends that I have and it's been a great joy and a blessing to get to know the people whom I call 'friends' today more and more as time ticks along. I don't like to name names but you know who you are when I say that I'm able to lay my life as an open book before you where you can flick through each chapter and read about my struggles, my joys, my heartaches and giving me awesome advice whenever I needed it that made me feel much better. For that, I'm deeply encouraged and blessed by your support :)

A vital element in a friendship that allows DNM to occur is TRUST. It is so easy to pour out your life secrets to someone and then allow yourself to get hurt by the sea of people that knows about your secrets 2 weeks later. I know I've been guilty of that and let me take the time now to say that I'm terribly sorry for the times I've wronged any one of you by breaking that trust bond that was formed in our DNM friendship. But really, if you haven't already, find some people around you whom you can share your life with, someone whom you can be open to, and most importantly, someone you can trust. Don't let yourself fall into the emptyness of being alone because when you think that there's no one to catch you when you fall, look around. There's a whole lot of God's people, who was created in his image, to support you as you journey through life and find the divine plan that God has blueprinted out for you.

thanks for stopping by. hope you'll be blessed by this post.

jase :)
